TWO crashes in the same spot in two days on Saltwater Creek Rd has a Maryborough resident calling on drivers to slow down in the wet weather.

Samantha Sawyer has seen the aftermath of the crashes outside her family's home near the Saltwater Creek bridge and said the rainy conditions had played a part.

She said two cars hit head-on about 5pm on Wednesday afternoon and one man, a passenger in one of the cars, suffered facial injuries.

Mrs Sawyer said about 1.30pm or 2pm the day before, a small rigid truck with a trailer started sliding on the road.

She said a four-wheel driver towing a trailer pulled off the road to avoid the truck but lost it's trailer down an embankment.

Mrs Sawyer said the truck ended up in their front yard.

She said drivers need to slow down in the wet weather.

Mrs Sawyer said not only did family members phone emergency services and help the motorists involved, the family's business, Maryborough Towing, also helped to tow the vehicles.
