Two gas cylinders stolen from botanical gardens in Urangan

TWO 9kg gas cylinders were stolen from the Hervey Bay Botanical Gardens on Elizabeth St in Urangan sometime between noon on Monday and 8.30am on Tuesday.

Hervey Bay police Sergeant Darren Morris said the chain that locked the gas bottles down had been broken and the two cylinders stolen.

"Anyone with information should contact CrimeStoppers on 1800 333 000 or Hervey Bay police station," Sgt Morris said.
