Urangan woman punched while stopped at lights

HERVEY Bay police are seeking information on the assault of a 20-year-old Urangan woman who was punched through her car window.

It is believed she was in her car between 7pm and 7.20pm on Sunday when she was attacked by two other women.

Police said she was on the corner of Boat Harbour Dr and Nissan St when a Statesman with Victorian numberplates stopped near her at traffic lights.

One suspect is a 23-year-old, 175cm, Caucasian, with a slim build and was wearing a black and grey high-waisted skirt with a black singlet.

The other suspect was 180cm, Caucasian, with a slim build, blonde shoulder length hair and was wearing a tight black dress and black thongs.
