Vandals smash walls, doors in commission home rampage

VANDALS have caused thousands of dollars worth of damage to a Department of Housing home after smashing walls and doors and spray painting the home.

Senior Constable Dave Weber said the offenders used an object similar to a hammer to smash the home after forcing their way through the garage door to gain entry to the home over the weekend.

Cleaning products were stolen from the home on St Andrews Drive in Pialba.

The report was made to police on Monday afternoon.

Walls were also spray painted during the attack.

Anyone with information that may assist police are being urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
