Vandals smash windows at Maryborough school

POLICE in Maryborough are searching for a group of vandals who smashed more than five windows at Aldridge State High School earlier this week.

The five vandals, who were believed to be juveniles, entered the school grounds sometime between Wednesday night and Thursday morning.

Five windows were broken on F Block during the crime spree, as well as five louvres and another window on nearby buildings.

A police spokesman said the offenders were believed to be two males riding scooters, and three females on foot.

He said the police were in the process of obtaining CCTV footage to aid in the investigation.
