WHATS ON: Family fun day at Panorama Estate on Sunday

THOSE interested in checking out lots for sale at Dundowran Beach's Panorama Estate will be able to bring the kids along this Sunday.

A family fun day will be held on Sunday between 10am and 1pm for prospective buyers, with plenty of child-friendly activities on offer.

Static demonstrations of diggers, loaders and excavators will be there and a well-loved children's character "surprise guest" will visit.

THINGS TO DO: On the second week of school holidays

Free frisbee giveaways will keep the little ones active and hunger will be kept at bay thanks to a sausage sizzle.

One Agency realtor and Real Estate Institute of Queensland Fraser Coast zone chair Damian Raxach said expert advice would be on hand on the day for those wanting to know more about the up to 15 lots on sale.

He said representatives from GJ Gardner Homes would be there as would financial advisors and mortgage brokers, along with the land's developers, the Stocks family.

"It should be a good day," he said.

The land, comprised of about 276 lots in one-and-half acre allotments, was originally used as a dairy and pineapple farm, before its development began about two decades ago.

Mr Raxach said about 15 "seriously good" blocks were released about three weeks ago with three already sold.
