Villa can snuff out ATW's finals hopes

FOOTBALL: Doon Villa will be out to snuff Across The Waves' Wide Bay Premier League championship hopes when they meet at Villa Park.

The battle between the second and fifth-placed sides could determine whether or not the Bundaberg powerhouse can finish in the top four.

ATW is fifth, two points behind Bargara, who will face third-placed Brothers Aston Villa at Martens Oval.

A loss would not end ATW's season, but, dependant on the result at Martens Oval, it could make their chances much more slim with just one more week left in the regular season.

In the other games: Sunbury will face United Park Eagles at Martens Oval, and KSS Jets take on United Warriors at Hervey Bay Sports Club.
