Warriors go back-to-back

BREAKING: For the second year in a row, United Warriors have claimed the Fraser Coast League title after a dramatic 5-4 extra-time victory over Doon Villa in Hervey Bay.

When the full-time whistle blew, scores were locked at 3-3 and only nine Doon Villa players were on the field.

Chiri Wael (Warriors) and Joel Neilsen (Doon Villa) both found the back of the net in a pulsating extra-time, but it was a penalty by Daniel Jarratt that decided the football grand final.

It was a heartbreaking end for the never-say-die Doon Villa, who came from behind four times to level the scores - twice when red carded players Robbie McPhie and Ryan Crawford were off the park.
