Crime spree keeps police busy

A STRING of break and enters kept Hervey Bay police on their toes over the weekend.

On Saturday night money was stolen from Furniture One on Boat Harbour Drive after thieves jemmied open a sliding window.

The night before two stores at Eli Waters Shopping Centre were targeted.

A male in his 20s with a slim build and wearing a grey and black striped jacket was seen attempting to break into the Red Cross store. He is also believed to have taken money from the register at the kebab shop.

Members of the Central Bulls Junior Football team had iPods, boots, a wallet and clothing stolen from a cabin at the Fraser Lodge Holiday Park.
