Weekend was a ball for Fraser Coast families

TWO great events equalled a weekend of fun for families on the Fraser Coast.

The annual Teddy Bears' Picnic was held at the Hervey Bay Botanic Gardens, with plenty of youngsters bringing along their furry best friends.

Organiser Kathy Forgan-Flynn said the picnic had included plenty of games and entertainment and the children who came along had enjoyed the fun event.

Meanwhile, the Whale Festival's Whale Aid concert was held at Seafront Oval.

There were performances from Fraser Coast musicians along with carnival rides for the kids.
