Whale Festival ends tonight

THE Hervey Bay Whale Festival comes to a close tonight with Migaloo's Moonlight Swing.

The council has urged residents and visitors alike to get their dancing shoes down Urangan's Pier Park Promenade from 6.30 - 9.30pm.

"The Promenade will come alive to the sounds of old time swing music for a night of big band and bold dance moves; ladies dress in your best white frock in honour of Migaloo, gentlemen a tux if you please," the council advised.

Admission to the event is free.
