'What a great day for all the family': Letter

TRAVELLING from the Gold Coast, I visited the Hervey Bay Seafood Festival with family and friends recently.

What a great day it was.

What a tremendous family atmosphere the festival provided.

The entertainers were enjoyable and were varied.

And it was just so enjoyable to sit back and relax and take all the seafood festival had to offer.

Overall, I felt the quality of the stalls was good.

I especially appreciated the local stalls selling craft and produce.

However I had two disappointments.

Surprisingly, not enough seafood or variety apart from the Co-op, the few stalls that did have seafood had long queues.

Where were my favourites in the Bay, your wonderful scallops, especially mornay?

The limited number of toilets loaded aboard a "dunny truck” at the far end of the show was struggling to cope, especially for the ladies.

The toilets were too far away from the main venue.

So more toilets and have them better located next year please organisers!

Robina
