HOWARD MINI MINERS
When: Every Wednesday during school term from 9am till 11am.
Where: Howard State School at the Bill Sargent Hall, 108 William St, Howard.
What: Bring your tiny tot for a play date. Coffee and tea are supplied, but don't forget to pack a snack or two and water bottle for your child. Indoors and outdoors play area.
PLAYMATES PLAY GROUP

PLAY WITH YOUR KIDS

What: Enjoy new activities every time with your child or children less than five years. An outside sandpit is also to be enjoyed.

What: Visit to pick a toy to borrow

What: Bring your kindy aged child for an enjoyable reading session, hosted by a librarian. Enjoy songs, felt board activities and books.
SEAGULLS JUNIORS AGM
When: Wednesday, from 6pm.
Where: Seagulls Club House, Stafford Park at the corner of Bideford St and Boundary Rd, Torquay.
What: The annual general meeting for the Hervey Bay Seagulls Junior Rugby League is on and all positions are being vacated. Come along to show your support to the club. The club needs people with new ideas.
When: Thursday (during term times), from 3.30pm
Where: Burrum District Community Centre, Steley St, Howard.
What: Schools kids can enjoy free play and activities at the youth group. Afternoon tea is provided.
Cost: $1 membership for the year.

What: Enjoyable night for music.

RATTLE AND RHYME
When: Every Thursday and Friday, at 10.30am and 9.30am respectively.
Where: Hervey Bay Library, 161 Old Maryborough Road, Pialba.
What: Mums and dads are invited to bring their little one for an enjoyable half hour of rhyme, songs and rattles.
DAY FOR DANIEL
When: Friday, all day.
Where: Around the Fraser Coast.
What: Host a Day for Daniel event and join more than one million people across Australia to 'wear red' and promote child safety.

SENIOR STUDENT ART DISPLAY
When: From Friday until November 22, between 10am and 4pm every day.
Where: Hervey Bay Regional Gallery, 166 Old Maryborough Road, Pialba.
What: Look at some of the fantastic works by senior art students at Fraser Coast Anglican College displayed at the gallery.
When: Saturday, from 6.45am.
Where: Leaves from 577 Charlton Esplanade, Urangan.
What: Get dressed up in Halloween costumes for a 5 kilometre walk and run down the Esplanade. Bring your kids to join in on the fun.
HALLOWEEN MOVIE NIGHT
When: Saturday, between 2pm and 8pm.
Where: The Discovery Sphere, 166 Old Maryborough Rd, Pialba.
What: Get your spookiest costumes on to celebrate Halloween in stye. There will be a sausage sizzle, drinks, popcorn, Fraser Coast Wildlife Sanctuary talks and activities and a spooky movie, Monsters Inc, from 5.30pm.
Cost: $4.50 per child and $5.50 for accompanying adult. Bookings not required.
When: Saturday, from 6pm to 8pm.
Where: Hervey Bay PCYC, 9 O'Rourke Street, Pialba.
What: A disco for kids in grades three to grade six. Get dressed in your scariest costume and enjoy a hot dog, popper and lucky door prizes. Supervised by uniformed police officer and PCYC staff.
Cost: $8 per child.
MARY POPPINS LOOK IN
When: Saturday, between 1.30pm and 3.30pm.
Where: The former Joint Stock Bank Building, corner of Kent and Richmond Sts, Maryborough.
What: Explore the birth place of Maryborough's most famous export, P L Travers, the creative genius behind Mary Poppins.
The building was constructed during 1882 as the Australian Joint Stock Bank. Have a look at the upstairs room.
