Windows smashed in business vandalism spree

FIVE Torquay businesses had windows smashed in the early hours of Thursday morning. 

Hervey Bay Police Station's Sergeant Allan Douma said Subway, Birney's Seafoods, Harcourts, Go Natural and a barber shop were vandalised between about 1am and 1.30am. 

The five Torquay businesses copped smashed windows during the attack but there were no reports of theft. 

Police are urging anyone with information that may assist police in their investigations to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000
