WITH dozens of vehicles all polished up and looking their best, it was hard not to be impressed at the spectacle of wings and wheels on show at the airport.

Thousands of people flocked to the Heritage City's airport to see some of the warbirds and flash cars on display for the Wings, Wheels and Warbirds event.

The day included a special demonstration in a rare T-28A Trojan fighter jet.
