Woman, 36, charged for alleged paramedics assault

POLICE have charged a 36-year-old Scarness woman for allegedly assaulting four paramedics on Tuesday afternoon.

Hervey Bay Police were called to assist paramedics after the woman allegedly lashed out at them repeatedly, forcing them to stop outside the Hervey Bay RSL.

The woman has been charged with three counts of common assault and one count of attempted common assault.

She will appear in Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on November 12.
