Woman accused of robbing jewellery store to stand trial

A WOMAN accused of holding up a Maryborough jewellery store and tying up its owner last October has been committed to stand trial.

Donna Lee Robinson appeared in Maryborough Magistrates Court yesterday for the case to be committed to a higher court.

She is charged with deprivation of liberty, armed robbery of Gillhespy T J Watchmaker and Jeweller and fraud.

The trial is expected to be held in the next sitting of the Maryborough District Court.
