RACQ CareFlight Rescue has flown to the aid of a woman who was crushed by a steel gate and a bull.

The 22 year old was working at an Amamoor Creek property this morning when the bull leant against a gate, forcing it off its latch and hinge. The gate and the bull both landed on top of the woman who had been standing on the opposite side.

The impact resulted in the woman suffering suspected abdominal injuries.

The Sunshine Coast-based RACQ CareFlight Rescue helicopter landed at the scene, where its flight doctor and intensive care flight paramedic stabilised the woman.

She was airlifted the woman to the Royal Brisbane & Women's Hospital in a stable condition.
