A WOMAN walked into Maryborough's Avance Financial Services and lit a business card on fire on Tuesday about 1.40pm.

Fire, police and ambulance crews were called to the Bazaar St business.

He said there had been no threat to her safety or the safety of others.

The woman was taken to Maryborough Hospital for observation.
