Woman's body washes up on Coast beach

THE BODY which washed up at Hell's Gate in Noosa National Park has been identified as a 64-year-old woman.

A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the woman had been reported missing on the afternoon of Friday, November 3, sparking a police search.

Her body was found washed up on rocks the following morning, with water police sent to retrieve her.

A report is now being prepared by the Coroner, but police are not treating the death as suspicious.
