Wrong place to pick a fight

A YOUNG plumber has been fined after getting into a fight with his brother outside the Maryborough Courthouse.

Jake Mitchell Batten, 20, pleaded guilty to being a public nuisance.

Police were called to the scene on Richmond Street about 6pm on December 26.

Batten swore continually at police before being arrested and taken to the watch-house.

Ms Millward said Batten was extremely remorseful for the incident.
