Xavier students step out in style
STUDENTS from Xavier Christian College were dressed up to the nines to enjoy one of the highlights of their school years last night.
The Year 12 formal, which was held at the school in Eli Waters, celebrates the end of the long years of primary and secondary schooling.
Xavier Catholic College principal Kerry Swann said the formal was a symbol of students stepping out into society.
"It's a very important night in the student's cultural calendar," he said.
"It's sort of a coming-of-age I suppose."
